OPHTHALMIC SURGERY COMPLICATIONS

This multiauthored book covers a wide range of topics associated with
complications of ophthalmic surgery, both acute and delayed. Both prevention and
management of complications are themes in the book. The editors stress three
major goals beyond the description of the recognition and management of
intraoperative complications: (1) prevention of complications, (2) management of
delayed complications, and (3) use of a team approach to provision of care. In
some respects, these objectives are achieved, and to an extent, this book meets
a definite need in the ophthalmic literature. The book has sections that are of
