This book introduces the basic concepts of chemical engineering plant design and
operation at a level understandable to graduate chemists and other scientists.
It is aimed particularly at industrial chemists who find themselves working on
chemical engineering-type unit operations. It is intended to be a "dip-in"
reference. The book also covers other issues, such as safety, project economic
appraisal and process control.
